  As a self-described "mall rat" I've gone out of my way to see A LOT of malls, and the Mall in Columbia definitely earns it's title as one of the best. The other name for it is Columbia Town Center, and that's very apt, as it's not only the geographic but also the cultural crossroads of our town. In addition to an ever-changing roster of excellent name brand stores, there are also many thriving local businesses and it plays host to a variety of cultural events. This mall achieves the vision of the very concept of what a mall should be, that of "a Downtown with a roof over it."

  They have so many different business, types of food, and the building is pretty. Downside is the parking. Absolutely atrocious. I like that it's central to a lot of my favorite places to have sit down dinners and it's a short walk to the movie theater. The outside courtyard to one entrance is really cool and had an interesting Pride Rock design.
